I am a high performance triathlete but I’ve suffered from a lot of injuries over the years. These injuries have often held me back from performing my best. After yet another series of injuries in the fall of 2016 I knew I needed to find a way to break the training/injury/rehab cycle and build strength that could sustain the volume of training that is required for my sport.

Since I started training at EPIC Fitness, I have significantly reduced my overuse injuries and my core stability has drastically improved. I’m spending my time training instead of rehabbing- a huge bonus for me!

As my training evolved this winter, whenever I noticed performance issues I brought them to Kathleen’s attention. She would immediately incorporate exercises into my plan to target these weaknesses and build them into strengths. She is attentive to my sport and develops programs that keep my body running like a high performance machine.

Whenever anyone asks me if they should train at EPIC I only have one answer “Do it!” If you’re serious about reaching your health and fitness goals EPIC is worth the investment; its the ultimate investment in yourself.

The staff and trainers at EPIC are so focused and invested in helping me achieve my goals, and their encouragement and enthusiasm is truly genuine. Not only that, but the staff truly Live #theEPIClife- each and everyone of them is inspiring.

I could never have imagined the positive impact working with EPIC has had on my performance and my outlook on training and sport- it’s been an amazing experience.

EPIC is proud to say that Leah West Sherriff is a sponsored Athlete.
